Yuval Boim

Yuval Boim was introduced to his first Iyengar Yoga class by his sister in 2003. He then began taking classes with Mary Dunn, James Murphy and Tori Milner, and since 2020 has been studying with Abhijata Iyengar. Yuval received his Level 1 certification in 2022 and traveled to India for extended study with the Iyengar family in 2024.

Yuval is also an actor and writer, with an M.F.A. in theater and movement from Naropa University and the London International School of Performing Arts. He teaches at Princeton University. He is married and a proud father to a Yorkie named Enzo, for whom he enjoys knitting sweaters.

Yuval draws infinite inspiration from the intelligence and creativity of the Iyengar method. His classes are engaging, playful and challenging. B.K.S. Iyengar wrote “life itself seeks fulfillment as plants seek sunlight.”  Inspired by this, Yuval aims to share his enthusiasm for the subject of Yoga with his students through clear, dynamic and relevant teaching, so that they can expand their capacities and fulfill their own potential.
