Nick began his yoga journey in 2001 and has been engaged in the practice and its teachings ever since. After more than a decade of personal exploration and several years of teaching, he discovered Iyengar Yoga in 2014, a method that resonated with him. His dedication led him to complete the Teacher Education program at the Iyengar Institute of New York in 2019, where he continues to study under Senior Iyengar Yoga Teacher Matt Dreyfus. In the fall of 2023, he achieved certification as an Iyengar Yoga Teacher and took his first trip to Pune in January 2025 for the 50th anniversary of RIMYI.
Nick's path to yoga was shaped by his background in theater. Encouraged by a teacher who recognized yoga’s benefits, he initially saw it as a complement to his training but soon found it to be a transformative practice in its own right. Over the years, yoga has become the most essential part of his life, both personally and professionally.
Nick values time spent with friends and loved ones, and he embraces the joy of cooking and of travel—especially when it leads to a quiet beach where he can simply unwind.
Nick appreciates the Iyengar method for its clarity, precision, and depth, and he is passionate about sharing its benefits with the broader yoga community. With a teaching style that emphasizes positive energy, creativity, and attention to detail, he works with students of all backgrounds and abilities. His ongoing goal is to inspire others to cultivate a deeper practice and discover greater fulfillment, balance, and peace in their lives.
