Course Descriptions and Fees

Our course offerings are designed to take you through a learning process that encompasses the full scope of the postures and the depth of the subject. True progress in this method requires prolonged study at each level.

Iyengar Yoga is for students of every age and fitness level. Students may attend classes at the level appropriate to their experience without registering in advance.

In addition to classes at four distinct levels, the Institute’s weekly schedule includes other special classes, workshops, and events. The schedule indicates the primary teacher for each class. When possible, substitutes are posted monthly online and in the lobby of the Institute.

You may drop in to any of our regularly scheduled classes, space permitting, unless they are part of a series or require pre-registration.

Course rates are now available for both members and nonmembers of the Iyengar Yoga Association of Greater New York, and students registered in courses receive the benefit of lower drop-in rates.
